Game Dynamics +10

Game Dynamics, Marketing.fm

Over the weekend I watched a great 30 minute presentation about past, present, and future game dynamics and points systems the exist (and will exist) within our world. I took away a few key points from the video and wanted to share them here.

The first point is about the digital convergence (or lack thereof).

The second point is that we are unaware of many of the points tracking systems that permeate our everyday lives.

The third is that points systems do and will continue to influence behavior in the future.

Finally, the points (or XP, or leveling – the nuances may not matter) are what will make a social impact on our lives.

I have embedded the video above and the last 10 minutes really drive home the theories of how points will influence our lives, if they are not already.
