thanks eric. something i didn't say in my post but the google logo reminded me – in the age of transparency, are we witnessing the end of the secret ballot? or is it mostly that we have a candidate that makes us want to wear shirts to the booth and post pics of marked ballots to flickr?

I think its a little of both. Surfacing that information will happen more, and we will hopefully move to a system that accounts for everyone's vote. Early voting I think is key and will spread 4 years from now.
