I finished reading Tribes We Need You to Lead Us by Seth Godin over the weekend and it was great. I also became an early member of his social network formed around the book Triiibes by purchasing an early copy of the book.
This book represents a quick and bite sized way to view the importance of smaller communities within an organization, consumer groups around a product, or just a leader of the pack are in today’s society.
Tribes provides the groundwork to understand how important leaders are and what they can do. There are tactics and strategies for understanding this change, and of course the motivation to get out there and be the change yourself.
These books always motivate me to continue on the path I have chosen (less traveled) and spark ideas within me. Tribes defines many of the new avenues of communication, reputation, and management of a group that can contribute to their success. By defining easy to digest case studies of successes and failures of groups and industries and how Tribes can thrive, the book delivers a powerful message in an easy to read format.
Since I feel that many of my readers will (or have already) checked out this book, I would like to ask; what are your thoughts?
