I have had a few discussions lately surrounding the popularity and conversations that happen around blogs. Many people agree that you simply have to keep the discussion going by blogging everyday. Some people can do this easily, while others like myself can blog only ever few days. In an experiment into this debate I am going to try to block time to blog everyday. Will the content suffer? Will the conversations decrease\increase? What about traffic? Since I do not know the answer to many of these questions I will see how it goes. We are 5 days into the month so I have kept up my part of the bargain for the beginning of October and I expect to make it through the end of the month. After this experiment I will report back on analytics and stats. Scientific? No. Worthwhile? I sure hope so.

    I used to blog everyday, there was definitely a decrease in my quality but an increase in traffic. However now that I focus more on quality I seem to be building a community and getting a few more subscribers, but there is less traffic.
