Changing Jobs not Focus

Marketing, Marketing.fm, Technology

Those who know me best recognize my passion for technology and marketing. I have pursued this passion in every position I have held, and I am happy to report that I am staying on course. I view my self as an entrepreneur who strives to do what I love and love what I do.

In pursuit of this mantra, I am happy to announce that I will be joining the team at Union Square Ventures.

I was lucky enough at my previous position to work with smart and talented people, and happy that I am taking with me a wealth of knowledge and solid friendships. I definitely learned a lot in the past 2+ years, primarily that I love working with startup companies. The opportunity at Union Square Ventures will afford me the time and experience I am looking for to continuing on my path.

Over the next few months as I adjust to my new role this blog will primarily remain the same. As of June 2008 the tagline of Marketing.fm has evolved from “The Frequency of Change – Marketing and Advertising 2.0″ to “The Intersection of Marketing and Technology” which encompasses everything that I am now doing. Marketing.fm has always been a live experiment from the beginning and will continue to be an important part of what I do.

I look forward to the road ahead and I thank the readers of this blog, as they have made my writing and dedication to this ever growing experiment worthwhile. When this blog was started a few years ago I did not know that it would lead me to a new position, but I certainly had high hopes.

With all this in mind I may be changing companies but I am not losing focus.
