I just downloaded and installed the new Flickr software for Blackberry users. It does not work yet on my Blackberry Curve giving me the following error but I am sure it will be fixed soon.
Uncaught exception: net.rim.device.api.system.UnsupportedOperationException
There are a ton of people out there who want to use Flickr and having an official app is certainly great.
For those Blackberry or any PDA with a camera users who do not have the software simply go to:
http://www.flickr.com/account/uploadbyemail/?from=email
(must be logged in) to grab your private email address that will send your attached photos directly to your account. I have been using this for awhile which allows fast integration into my Flickr photo stream as well as saving a copy of the picture in my email.

I had the same error on my 8320 as you did, but I uninstalled and reinstalled and rebooted 3 times before it finally worked. Now it works fine and I am able to upload directly into my Flickr account.
