Sunset

Our coverage of the Youth Marketing Conference has finally come to an end and I thought I would leave you with some final thoughts about my experience in Huntington Beach, CA.

The picture above features one of the sunsets from the beach which was next to the conference (not a bad location).

I enjoyed speaking to everyone I met at the conference and I definitely got a lot out of this experience. For one thing I have never blogged so much about any topic let alone youth marketing for 3 days straight. I encourage anyone with any questions about the conference, interviews, or articles written to please write in.

Lessons learned at this conference:

1. Talk to everybody – because you never know
2. Ask questions – it will encourage others to do so
3. Telling people you are a blogger changes their openness and ability to answer questions without a filter
4. People read your name tag and title before speaking to you (or simply do not speak to you)
5. Everyone has a story to tell.
