Eric Friedman – Marketing.fm

Google introduced a new business version of their hosted office applications and bloggers have been quick to jump on coverage.

To me the most interesting part of this story is the fact that so many large companies such as GE and P&G are now evaluating the service. Its amazing to think that CTO’s are evaluating a completley web based document solution. I have read the positive and negative reactions to this type of service, but I will throw my support behind the web based apps. Sure there will be some bumps along the way, but the scalability of being able to fix and upgrade problems via a “backend” system outweigh the problems that may arise.
