There are many websites designed for ease of use on a cellphone, pda, or blackberry. While you may not want to read the Sunday Times on a small screen, there are some services that will be greatly improved through mobile access. Travel information is at the top of the list.
Kayak has designed a fantastically usefull mini-site that allows one to check a flight’s status, look for restaurants & hotels by zip code, and even check for airline prices. All of these features are simplified for last minute use on the run. Orbitz tried to do this a while back but it failed miserably.
I commend Kayak for a superior application and I intend to use it. Check it out if you get a chance:
