Feedburner burnin’ 250,000+ feeds!

Feedburner

Feedburner recently rocketed past the 250,000 feed mark (266,451 at the time of this writing) and I just wanted to say congratulations and thanks! It seemed this is a milestone worth celebrating – even if they dont think so. Plus I am a huge feedburner advocate for anyone starting a new blog, or anyone who needs help getting their feed straightened out.

Recently Fred Wilson pointed out some great new features on feedburner involving subscribing via email which we are using here too. (also covered in depth at TechCrunch)

I know with this blog, allowing some to choose to subscribe via email has been a huge success and this is due to the great pair up of the FeedBurner service with FeedBlitz – which gives us our readership.

I wonder if they will ever pull down those subscriber numbers when things begin to get interesting or they approach an exit strategy…

I just wanted to say thanks for one of the best free services on the web and hopefully someday soon, this blog will be able to become a paid subscriber.
